Privacy Policy

When you use SwapYard, we collect:

• Account information - your email address and OAuth provider identity.
• Profile information - display name, city, meetup radius, preferred local game store, and contact method.
• Location data - approximate city and coordinates for local matching. We do not track your location continuously.
• Trade data - haves, wants, trade proposals, and trade history.
• Usage data - basic server logs for reliability and diagnostics.

• Matching you with nearby traders who have cards you want and want cards you have.
• Sending trade notifications based on your preferences.
• Displaying reputation and completed trade history to potential trade partners.
• Improving platform reliability and diagnosing technical issues.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your contact method and local game store affiliation are only revealed after both parties accept a trade. Before that point, potential trade partners see display name, city context, reputation, and card-list overlap.

Pricing data is sourced from Scryfall and currency conversion data from Exchange Rate API. No personal data is shared with those services.

Your data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data through support. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

We use cookies for authentication and currency preference storage. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Data is stored in Supabase, communication is encrypted via HTTPS, and authentication uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. We do not store passwords.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Use support channels in the app or contact us directly.

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. The date above reflects the latest revision.

California residents can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. SwapYard does not sell personal information. Contact privacy@swapyard.app for data requests.
